We are looking for a Production Planner I to support production planning and execution within a manufacturing operation, ensuring material availability, data accuracy, and compliance with production schedules.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and updating of short-term production plans, considering demand, inventory levels, and plant capacity.Execute and monitor MRP processes within the ERP system.Monitor raw material availability and coordinate requirements with the relevant teams.Track production schedule adherence and identify deviations.Analyze daily production data, including yields, material consumption, and production volumes.Perform production and inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or variances.Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and transactions in the ERP system.Support month-end closing processes, audits, and production-related controls.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, Supply Chain, production planning, or related areas.Experience or knowledge of ERP systems; SAP is highly desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of inventory management and basic MRP principles.Experience in chemical or batch manufacturing is considered a plus.Knowledge of manufacturing costs or finance is considered a plus.
Technical CompetenciesProficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.Knowledge of MRP and production planning.Knowledge of inventory management and control.Ability to perform reconciliations and analyze production and inventory variances.
