About the role
RUNNER (XIAMEN) CORP. is hiring Production Supervisor Trainees for its manufacturing plant. Trainees rotate through production follow-up, quality, warehousing and logistics, and shift-leader support for 6 months before confirming a final position. The role includes learning preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting production management, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to performance validation and continuous improvement.
Professional working proficiency in English is required for reports and cross-border communication with the company's international/Chinese headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Assist the shift supervisor with the daily production plan and track output, yield, scrap, and downtime.
- Escalate equipment stops, quality deviations, and material shortages.
- Support first-piece confirmation and patrol inspection with Quality; participate in non-conformance analysis and corrective actions; learn and maintain SOPs.
- Help organize shift-start meetings, communicate tasks and safety notices, compile attendance and working-hour data, and support on-the-job training for new operators.
- Consolidate daily production, yield, and downtime KPIs in Excel; prepare daily and weekly production reports.
- Participate in 5S and continuous-improvement (Lean) activities.
Requirements
- Technical degree or bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics/Polymer, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of manufacturing experience; automotive and plastic injection experience are noted.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
