Role DescriptionThis is an online position. The professor will deliver interactive online English classes (4 hours per week) to higher-education students, focusing on advanced grammar, academic writing, speaking, and listening skills. Responsibilities include preparing and updating lesson plans aligned with institutional curricula, selecting digital resources, and adapting materials for different proficiency levels. The role involves assessing student performance through assignments, quizzes, and oral evaluations, providing timely feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The professor will also participate in academic meetings when required, support institutional quality standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
QualificationsStrong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with demonstrated experience instructing learners at C1/C2 proficiency levels.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education methodologies, including the use of digital tools and online learning platforms.Excellent Communication skills, both in English and Spanish, to facilitate clear explanations and effective student engagement.Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2), preferably supported by a recognized certification (e.g., Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL).Bachelor’s degree or higher in Languages, Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.Experience teaching in higher education or formal language institutes, ideally in online or blended learning environments.Ability to manage virtual classrooms, use video-conferencing tools, and integrate multimedia resources into lessons.Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting schedules, and commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices.
