About the role
CRDF Global is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the implementation of a large international program spanning multiple countries across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. The program is delivered through country-based projects led by Project Managers. The Program Manager oversees the program’s budget, reporting, compliance, and performance, from startup through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with donor requirements, and to a high standard of customer service. The role serves as the operational lead for the award and works closely with technical, finance, procurement, contracts, and talent management teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead program implementation across multiple countries, managing scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and deliverables.
- Supervise and support Project Managers responsible for country-level implementation.
- Monitor program performance, financial health, staffing, and risks, and provide regular reporting to leadership and donors.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the client and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure consistent application of program management processes, standards, and reporting across projects.
- Oversee planning, reporting, monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance of program deliverables.
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Monitor expenditures, staffing plans, and project performance; identify issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Track key business and program metrics and support program growth opportunities, including proposal development and pricing activities.
