Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to fill an opening with a leading aerospace manufacturer located near Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing aerospace manufacturing programs, working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams while driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements of the Program ManagerBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience within the aerospace manufacturing industryExperience managing customer programs for aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliersStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and MRP/ERP systems (PLEX preferred)Experience working directly with production teams to resolve manufacturing and operational issuesKnowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality management systemsExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, and PPAP methodologies preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage program schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation activitiesExcellent communication and customer relationship management skillsExperience presenting program status and leading customer reviewsAbility to influence cross-functional teams without direct authorityExperience supporting MRP/ERP implementation or process improvements preferredPMP certification is a plusExperience with composite manufacturing, ITAR, and international aerospace customers is preferred

Responsibilities of the Program ManagerServe as the primary point of contact for assigned aerospace customer programs from award through production and deliveryManage overall program performance including schedule, cost, quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time deliveryLead customer communications, program reviews, milestone meetings, and issue resolutionDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules, risk registers, and action plansMonitor program budgets, forecasts, and financial performanceWork closely with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve manufacturing challengesIdentify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and delivery performanceSupport production scheduling and capacity planning to meet customer commitmentsLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing processes, MRP/ERP utilization, and operational efficiencyImprove planning accuracy, system utilization, and workflow effectiveness through process enhancementsDevelop standardized work instructions and documentation to improve program executionProactively identify program risks and develop mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, ITAR regulations, and contractual obligationsSupport new product launches and transition activities as requiredCollaborate across departments to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
