Position SummaryWe are seeking experienced Progress OpenEdge Developers to join our Build Team in Mexico The successful candidates will be responsible for developing enhancing maintaining and supporting business critical applications built on the Progress OpenEdge platform This role requires strong technical expertise in Progress OpenEdge 102B Progress ABL4GL development and the ability to work effectively with legacy systems while supporting modernization initiativesThe ideal candidate will have experience working with MFGPRO or QAD ERP applications possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be comfortable collaborating with global teams in both English and Spanish speaking environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign develop enhance and maintain applications using Progress Open Edge 102BDevelop and support solutions using Progress ABL4GLAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional solutionsTroubleshoot and resolveo Progress runtime errorso Compile errorso Database connectivity issueso Application performance and functionality problemsReview understand and modify complex legacy code while ensuring application stabilityCollaborate with business analysts functional teams and stakeholders to deliver application enhancements and production fixesParticipate in code reviews testing deployment activities and release management processesFollow established Software Development Lifecycle SDLC processes and development best practicesUtilize source version control tools to manage code changes effectivelySupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to application modernization efforts
