Project Coordinator

Job Title: Commercial Project Coordinator Reports To: Brands and GTM Director Location: PanamaEmployment Type: Full-time Job Summary: American Foods is looking for a Commercial Project Coordinator to lead cross-functional initiatives across our AMI Private Label business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear accountability. This role owns project execution end-to-end, coordinating stakeholders across Brand, Product Supply, Finance, Regulatory, and Brand Activation, tracking milestones, and driving accountability. This role owns the process, not the business decisions, and is a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, follow-through, and keeping fast-moving teams aligned. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Build project timelines, define milestones, assign ownership, and track deliverables. Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead weekly cross-functional meetings, follow up on action items, escalate risks, and ensure alignment across teams. Governance: Maintain project dashboards, update status reports, document decisions, and track dependencies. Risk Management: Identify execution risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate roadblocks proactively. Process Improvement: Standardize project management practices, improve governance, create templates, and increase visibility across the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2-4+ years of experience in project coordination, commercial operations, or cross-functional support, ideally in FMCG/CPG or food distribution. Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive accountability without formal authority. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up-like environment.
