Project Coordinator - Renewable Energy Construction

About the role

SUNOTEC is an international system integrator delivering large-scale renewable energy infrastructure across power generation, battery energy storage, grid infrastructure and lifecycle services. With more than 680 projects and over 15 GW of installed renewable energy capacity, SUNOTEC’s teams work across multiple markets from engineering through construction and commissioning.

As SUNOTEC expands its activities in the Dominican Republic, it is looking for a Project Coordinator to support delivery of the Mella Project. This hands-on, site-oriented role is the local coordination point connecting site activity with SUNOTEC’s international project team. Working closely with the Project Manager, contractors and specialists, the coordinator supports local follow-up and helps the wider team identify issues early, make informed decisions and keep the project on track.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular presence at the Mella Project site and follow construction progress against agreed schedules, milestones and priorities, giving the Project Manager reliable visibility of site activity.
• Follow up on open actions, commitments, deadlines and upcoming works with contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Identify delays or constraints before they affect project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, quality, HSE, logistics and commercial functions.
