Job Title: Operations Project Manager / Operations Consultant
About the Company:Our client is an operations consulting company that helps small businesses improve their internal processes, build scalable business systems, and optimize their operations through fractional COO services.
Job Description:The Operations Project Manager / Operations Consultant will manage client projects focused on improving business operations and building effective systems. This role combines project management, client consulting, process analysis, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will work directly with clients to understand their processes, identify inefficiencies, and help develop practical systems and solutions tailored to their business needs.
Responsibilities of the role:• Manage multiple client projects and ensure they remain on track, efficient, within deadlines, and profitable.• Lead weekly client meetings and conduct discovery sessions to understand business processes and operational challenges.• Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recognize opportunities for improvement.• Organize and simplify large amounts of information and communicate findings clearly to clients.• Help design and develop business systems and processes based on each client's specific needs.• Take ownership of projects and independently solve operational problems.• Coordinate with internal team members responsible for strategy, documentation, process mapping, and technical implementation.• Manage project timelines, deliverables, communication, and overall project progress.• Ensure effective communication between clients and internal team members.
Required Experience and Qualifications:• Experience in project management, operations consulting, business operations, or a related field.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.• Ability to understand complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.• Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.• Ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients and understand detailed business discussions.
Preferred Skills:• Experience working with small businesses or consulting clients.• Experience designing or improving business processes and systems.• Experience with process mapping and workflow optimization.• Experience with ClickUp, Propel, Miro, or similar project management and process-mapping tools.

Software & Tools:• ClickUp• Zoom• Propel• Miro• Other project management, process mapping, and business operations tools.Training will be provided on the company's specific systems and software.
Schedule:Flexible working hours based on project workload.Candidates must be available for core client meeting hours, generally between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM Mountain Time.The role may range from approximately 15–20 hours per week during slower periods to 30–40 hours per week with a full project portfolio.
