Are you an accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills? We're looking for a Property Accountant to join our team and support the financial management of a portfolio of properties. While property accounting experience is a plus, we're primarily seeking candidates with solid accounting fundamentals and experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
What You'll DoManage month-end close processes and financial reporting.Prepare and post journal entries.Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain general ledger accuracy.Analyze financial statements and variances.Support AP/AR reviews and account reconciliations.Collaborate with Property Managers and operational teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate reporting.
What We're Looking For✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.✔ 3-4 years of accounting experience.✔ Strong experience with:Month-end closeBalance sheet reconciliationsGeneral ledger managementJournal entriesFinancial reportingBank reconciliations
Preferred but Not Required⭐ Property Accounting experience⭐ Real Estate industry exposure⭐ Knowledge of US GAAP⭐ Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or similar accounting software
