Team members collaborate across service lines to offer secure, scalable, and efficient solutions tailored to diverse business needs.Role Description The QRadar Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in San Juan, responsible for managing and maintaining IBM QRadar SIEM environments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring security events, tuning QRadar rules and filters, configuring log sources, and ensuring accurate data ingestion from various systems and applications. The role involves troubleshooting QRadar-related issues, performing system upgrades and patches, and optimizing performance and storage. The QRadar Administrator will collaborate with security analysts, network engineers, and other IT staff to support incident response, enhance detection capabilities, and maintain documentation and best practices for the SIEM platform.Qualifications Strong experience administering IBM QRadar SIEM, including configuration, rule tuning, log source management, and performance optimization.Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as SIEM operations, incident response, threat detection, and security monitoring.Familiarity with network and system technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, Windows and Linux servers, cloud platforms, and common security tools).Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, shell scripting) and basic understanding of log formats and regular expressions.Ability to analyze security events, create reports and dashboards, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in on-site environments and collaborating with cross-functional IT and security teams.Relevant certifications such as IBM QRadarBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
