Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute end-to-end quality engineering strategies for applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud services.Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.Perform unit, API, integration, regression, performance, and reliability testing.Collaborate with developers and business analysts to review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish appropriate quality gates.Validate secure coding requirements aligned with OWASP principles.Test authentication, authorization, IAM roles, role-based access, and least-privilege controls.Verify data classification, data protection, encryption, masking, and secure transmission requirements.Conduct performance, load, stress, endurance, and volumetry testing.Validate platform reliability, resilience, error handling, recoverability, and service degradation behavior.Verify application observability through logs, metrics, distributed traces, alerts, and operational dashboards.Record, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retesting.Analyze test failures and collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause identification.Prepare test plans, automation reports, quality dashboards, defect metrics, and release-readiness recommendations.Continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, test-data management, and feedback cycles.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or quality engineering.Strong experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks.Hands-on experience with unit, integration, API, regression, performance, and reliability testing.Understanding of OWASP secure-coding principles and application security testing.Knowledge of IAM, authentication, authorization, and least-privilege access controls.Understanding of data classification, encryption, privacy, and secure data handling.Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.Practical experience conducting stress, load, endurance, and volumetry testing.Familiarity with observability concepts including logs, metrics, distributed traces, and alerts.Strong analytical, defect-management, documentation, and communication skills.
