Position SummaryWe are seeking a meticulous and proactive Associate QA Specialist to join our team. This role works closely alongside our QA Specialist to support our project testing system, ensuring that every initiative we launch meets the highest standards of functionality, usability, and performance. You'll start by learning our testing processes and standards directly from our QA Specialist, then take on increasing ownership of test planning and execution as you ramp up — helping ensure QA keeps pace with our project velocity and doesn't become a bottleneck.

Key Responsibilities● Collaborative Project Testing: Partner with our QA Specialist to manage QA for new product launches, customer-facing projects, and internal projects — taking on greater independent ownership as you build familiarity with our systems.● Throughput & Backlog Management: Work alongside the QA Specialist to keep testing capacity aligned with project volume, helping prevent backlog buildup in the QA queue.● Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on project requirements, with guidance from the QA Specialist as needed.● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Development teams to understand project goals and identify potential problem areas.● Functional & Regression Testing: Perform thorough functional, integration, and regression testing on all project components.● Issue Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs or defects, ensuring clear communication with relevant teams for timely resolution.● User Experience Validation: Ensure all customer-facing products and internal tools meet usability standards and function as intended across devices and platforms.● Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to QA processes and best practices as you gain familiarity with the team's workflows.

Qualifications● 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in e-commerce or tech-enabled service environments.● Working knowledge of software development life cycles and QA methodologies.● Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.● Strong communication and collaboration abilities; comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams, and receptive to mentorship.● Experience with manual testing is required; familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.● Passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and ensuring product reliability.

Preferred Qualifications● Experience testing marketing emails, transaction web pages, API integrations, web platforms, and third-party service connections.● Knowledge of automated testing solutions.● Understanding of basic HTML/CSS and web debugging tools.● Familiarity with digital marketing assets & best practices.
