About the role
HireUA is seeking an Associate Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support its client’s project testing system. The client is passionate about improving the lives of people and their emotional support animals and is committed to delivering high-quality products and seamless customer experiences.
The role works alongside a QA Specialist. You will learn testing processes and standards directly from the QA Specialist, then take on increasing ownership of test planning and execution as you become familiar with the systems.
Time zone: EST. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; the schedule can be flexible to start earlier, for example 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the QA Specialist to manage testing for product launches, customer-facing projects, and internal projects, taking on greater independent ownership as you become familiar with the systems.
- Help align testing capacity with project volume and prevent a backlog in the QA queue.
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts based on project requirements, with guidance from the QA Specialist as needed.
- Work with Operations, Marketing, and Development to understand project goals and identify potential problem areas.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on project components.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or defects.
