Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing/reviewing/updating procedures for achieving high standards of Quality.
• Development and implementation of procedures for inspecting, testing, training, improvement systems and evaluating quality and reliability of our products.
• Implementation of the APQP, and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, which include planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems by developing Process Flow Diagrams, Process FMEAs and Control Plans.
• Assess quality compliance by conducting ISO Standards internal process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up.
• Have a fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational, customer expectations and satisfaction, supplier relations and performance.
• Have a fundamental understanding of a quality system and its development, documentation, and implementation.
• Develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem solving.
• Have a thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques; this includes quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in Engineering.
• Previous experience in manufacturing as a Quality Engineer.
• Core Tools Knowledge.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
• Corrective Action and Root Cause methodologies (5why's, 8D's, 5 phase, Drill Deep and wide, Read across Matrix, PDCA.)
• Familiar with ISO 9000 & ISO 14000.
• English Required (90% or better.)
• Current US Visa, ability to travel.
