Quality Engineering Specialist

The Quality Engineering Specialist supports and leads quality assurance tasks, collaborates on QA process improvement, assists with complex manual or automated tests, and creates or maintains software testing automation solutions. The role also manages and leads other team resources.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test automation frameworks using software development methodologies and defined technologies, considering CI/CD processes and multiple environments.

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering or a related field.
• Leadership experience.
• Robust QA automation development experience.
• Fluency in Python, Java, C# or JavaScript.
• Mastery of an automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker or Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience creating manual test scenarios for automation test cases, identifying and prioritizing cases for automation to achieve the best coverage.
• Ability to perform QA technical testing tasks such as API and database testing, and interpret queries and database table relations.
• Experience creating and maintaining nonfunctional tests, including ADA, security and performance tests.
• Experience organizing team allocations and participating actively in QA leadership.
