Tasks
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to reduce scrap, rework, and customer PPM´s.
- Coordinate root cause analysis and the elimination of typical casting defects.
- Lead Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects focused on First Pass Yield (FPY) and cost optimization.
- Manage and audit the implementation of Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Stop production lines due to critical quality deviations and approve corrective and containment actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in foundry plants (iron, aluminum, or steel).
- Fluent English is a must.
