About the role
The Language Doctors is a U.S.–based language services company providing translation and interpretation solutions for healthcare, legal, government, and business clients worldwide. The company is seeking a curious, organized, people-oriented Recruiting Specialist to support its continued growth and grow a career in global recruiting within the linguistics industry.
The role supports end-to-end recruitment for language professional roles. The Recruiting Specialist works with senior recruiters and hiring leaders to attract, assess, and onboard qualified candidates while delivering an excellent candidate experience. It is suited to someone with recruiting experience who wants to deepen sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and senior recruiters to understand role requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Review and analyze job requirements to align candidate profiles with client needs.
- Create, publish, and manage job postings across multiple platforms, including job boards, databases, and social media.
- Screen resumes and applications for qualifications, experience, certifications, and overall fit.
- Conduct initial phone and video interviews to evaluate communication skills, professionalism, and role alignment.
- Support sourcing by researching and engaging active and passive candidates using creative strategies.
- Maintain accurate, organized candidate records in internal systems and tracking tools.
- Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process and support a positive candidate experience.
- Assist with rate discussions and offer processes under the guidance described in the role.
