Regulatory Specialist

Summary of the position: The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for safe operations and compliance with applicable regulatory and documentation requirements within the assigned vertical. This role will involve compiling quality information packages in response to customer requests, sending document change notifications and issuing compliant product information including labels and safety data sheets (SDS). This role will require interaction with suppliers, customers, and commercial divisions to ensure documentation is available and meets industry expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsabilities:
Work in close collaboration with our corporate regulatory, commercial, operations, and purchasing teams to comply with regulatory requirementsEnsure regulatory documents are accurate, updated and available Maintain regulatory and safety electronic databases Accurately complete customer regulatory request and documentation in a timely mannerProvide auditing backup for other regulatory team membersResearching regulations and summarizing them in a clear manner to affected stakeholdersSupport and lead by example, Barentz’ culture,values and fundamentalsParticipate in ongoingpersonal development opportunitiesOther duties and responsibilities as requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, with a discipline in Chemistry or other sciences preferredPrevious experience (3+ years) in a regulatory/compliance role considered a plus Familiarity with regulatory software (i.e. Datacor, Chempax, Sharepoint) as well as Quality Assurance programs The position is based in Guatemala.C1 or C2 level of English required.Customer focused mentality, while balancing multiple priorities simultaneouslyAttention to detail, while multi-tasking and meeting turn-around times/deadlinesAbility to remain calm and communicate effectively during high pressure situationsProficientuse of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Teams, OutlookStrong problem solving, organizational skills,attention to detail, and communication skillsSelf‐motivated, high energy, and engaging level of enthusiasmand positive outlookStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively throughout the organizationAct legally and ethically in allprofessional relationships in adherence with Barentz’ purpose, strategies and values
