Retainer – Legal Consultancy Services

Scope of Services
The Retained Counsel will provide legal support to WaterAid Liberia, including:
• Reviewing and revising organizational documents
• Representing WaterAid Liberia in legal matters, courts, administrative hearings, conferences, and other forums
• Providing legal advice, updates, and opinions on internal and external matters
• Advising on Liberian laws and other applicable legal requirements that may affect the organization’s operations or status
• Protecting and safeguarding WaterAid Liberia’s legal rights and interests.

📌 The detailed Terms of Reference will be provided to interested applicants upon request.

📄 Interested firms should submit:
• Description and scope of proposed legal services
• Clientele history and relevant experience
• Staffing composition and qualifications
• Proposed fees
• Preferred payment terms
• Any other information relevant to the engagement.

⏳ Contract Duration
The Legal Service Agreement will run for 12 months, commencing September 2026 and ending October 2027, subject to renewal. The engagement will be governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Liberia and limited to the jurisdiction of Liberia.
