Descripción del empleo
About the role
ITERRA is building the system of record for low-altitude airspace, focusing on environments where traditional tracking and attribution are limited or nonexistent. Its passive, edge-native RF and electro-optical sensing solutions autonomously detect and classify Group 1–3 UAS without relying on pre-loaded signature libraries, cloud connectivity, or active emissions. The systems are purpose-built for denied, degraded, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) environments and integrate with existing command-and-control platforms.
The RF Engineer and Antenna Systems role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing RF and antenna subsystems for passive sensing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop schematics, select components, and validate performance.
- Build and test RF circuits; characterize systems using lab equipment; and troubleshoot from prototype through production.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and field teams to support reliable operation in DDIL environments and integration with existing command-and-control systems.
- Document designs and test results, support manufacturing, and contribute to continuous improvement of RF performance and robustness.
Requirements
- Strong RF design and RF circuits skills for developing and optimizing RF front-ends and antenna subsystems.
- Proficiency in circuit design, including schematic capture, PCB layout collaboration, and component selection.
- Hands-on experience using network analyzers and spectrum analyzers for characterization, tuning, and troubleshooting RF systems.
Datos clave
- The role is based in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.
- The role involves designing and optimizing RF and antenna subsystems for passive sensing platforms.
- Requirements include RF design, circuit design, and hands-on use of network and spectrum analyzers.
