Salesperson

Role Description This full-time, on-site Salesperson role is based at Grupo Freta S.A. in Guatemala City. The Salesperson is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and consistently meeting sales targets. Daily activities include prospecting through calls and visits, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals in alignment with company guidelines. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, coordinating with operations and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and invoicing, and providing after-sales support to build long-term relationships. The Salesperson is expected to stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and product updates to communicate value effectively and contribute to sales strategy.Qualifications Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in a similar industry.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and internal teams.Ability to understand customer needs, present solutions clearly, and handle objections in a professional manner.Solid organizational and time-management skills, including experience working with CRM tools or sales tracking systems.Comfort with working toward targets and performance metrics, with a results-oriented and proactive mindset.Basic proficiency in office productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) and willingness to learn new tools.High level of integrity, reliability, and customer service orientation.Availability to work on-site in Guatemala City and visit clients as needed.Completion of secondary education required; post-secondary studies in Business, Marketing, or related fields are an advantage.Spanish fluency required; basic English skills are a plus.
