SAP Functional Consultant (Spend Management & Business Network)Experience : 5+ yrs Position OverviewLocation: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico (Hybrid model – partial on-site presence required).Job Type: Contract / Project-based (Freelance).Language Requirements: Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant based in Monterrey to lead the implementation and optimization of our procurement and supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network (SBN), with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects.Technical RequirementsSAP Business Network (SBN): Strong hands-on experience implementing Commerce Automation and Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) modules.SAP Ariba: Deep functional expertise in Buying & Invoicing (P2P / Procurement processes).Project Experience: Minimum of 2 full-cycle implementations successfully delivered in 2 different companies.Integration Knowledge: Experience aligning SAP Ariba/SBN with backend ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC) via Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) / SAP Integration Suite.Business Processes: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesBlueprinting: Lead business blueprinting workshops, gather complex requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and SAP Business Network modules.Testing: Define testing strategies, create test scripts, and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Training & Change Management: Deliver comprehensive training sessions to key users and create end-user documentation.Support: Provide hypercare and post-go-live support to ensure smooth business stabilization.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, business users, and external vendors.Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.
