Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Deliver rigorous, inquiry-based mathematics instruction that promotes deep conceptual understanding and critical thinking. Implement and adapt a secondary math curriculum that aligns with high academic standards within a dynamic micro-school setting. Provide differentiated instruction, ensuring that students at all levels are challenged and supported through personalized learning goals. Utilize various assessment tools, including "I can" statements and detailed rubrics, to track progress and inform academic shifts. Work closely with school leadership to maintain a cohesive, interdisciplinary environment that fosters student autonomy. Experience: A minimum of three years of teaching experience specifically within the field of secondary mathematics (Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Probability and Statistics). Pedagogical Skill: Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a love for problem-solving. Flexibility: Thrives in a small-school environment where collaboration and adaptability are essential for student success.
