We're looking for a Semi Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to high-impact national and international projects. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, build your technical expertise under the guidance of senior engineers, and take on more responsibility as you grow.
Position OverviewAs a Semi Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll join our Electrical Engineering team and contribute to the design, development and execution of engineering projects. You'll own specific deliverables and work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical engineering designs and technical deliverables under senior engineers' supervision.Prepare one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment layouts and design documentation.Support the design and specification of medium- and high-voltage systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, grounding, and protection and control systems.Perform electrical studies such as load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protection coordination and grounding, with review from senior engineers.Work with vendors and internal teams on technical information and equipment data.Take part in client meetings and technical reviews as needed.Support multidisciplinary teams in developing integrated, constructible solutions.Help ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes and client specifications.Support junior engineers and interns when needed.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.Upper-intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken).Hands-on experience in electrical power systems design.Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.Willingness to learn and take on more technical responsibility.
Preferred QualificationsWe value experience in:Industrial facilities, renewable energy, substations or combined-cycle power plants.GIS (Gas Insulated Substation) projects.Power system analysis and design tools such as ETAP, PowerWorld, SIMSEE or AutoCAD.ANSI and ISO standards and regulations.Multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
