Senior Accountant

📍 Location: Santo Domingo, Rep. Dom.We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong technical expertise in the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while partnering with multiple business functions in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Lead the monthly and year-end close processes.Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.Perform and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations.Coordinate with Treasury and Accounts Receivable to ensure cash transactions are properly reconciled and recorded.Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (DGII) and internal accounting policies.Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and business objectives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting.Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle is required.Proven experience preparing financial statements.Solid experience leading month-end and year-end close processes.Experience performing balance sheet and bank reconciliations.Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience working with ERP systems.Strong knowledge of IFRS.
