About the role
Avenga is seeking a professional in Argentina's Fintech industry to help scale and evolve high-availability payment platforms. The role focuses on high-throughput transactional flows and modern cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design robust microservices and master cloud integrations.
- Continuously improve code quality and drive architectural initiatives with strong ownership.
- Build low-latency distributed systems and optimize critical payment rails.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and building resilient backend services.
- Background in deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices, with and without containers.
- Experience developing high-availability, low-latency systems and designing robust REST APIs.
- Hands-on knowledge of payment systems, with a focus on acquiring or issuing domains.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud infrastructure, including Lambda, EKS, ECS, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
- Daily use of AI agents and development assistants to design, generate, and continuously improve code quality.
