Do you love turning complex business logic into clean, scalable data models? Are you passionate about building the trusted data foundation that powers better decision-making? We're looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data Team as a senior individual contributor.
🎯 About the Role This is a hands-on, highly business-facing role focused on building the certified data architecture, models, and documentation that enable the company to make better decisions. You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations to connect the dots between business processes and trusted data — with a strong focus on go-to-market and subscription revenue data (pipeline, bookings, ARR, MRR, churn, retention, and more).
💡 What You'll Do: ✅ Design, build, and maintain scalable data models in BigQuery using dbt ✅ Operate as a hands-on senior technical contributor solving complex data challenges ✅ Connect business processes, systems, and KPIs across multiple teams ✅ Use approved AI tools securely to accelerate documentation and analysis ✅ Define and standardize key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, retention, expansion) ✅ Model the full sales and revenue funnel, from lead to renewal ✅ Own documentation and data definitions for the entire data layer ✅ Strengthen data governance, quality standards, and testing practices
🔑 What We're Looking For: ▪️ 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or data architecture ▪️ Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery (optimization, partitioning, performance tuning) ▪️ Advanced SQL skills ▪️ Hands-on experience with dbt (modeling, testing, documentation, deployment) ▪️ Experience with ELT pipelines and tools like Fivetran ▪️ Experience in a SaaS, software, or subscription-based business ▪️ Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and the B2B sales motion ▪️ AI-first mindset, using approved tools securely and responsibly ▪️ Strong documentation discipline and ability to work independently ▪️ Comfortable working across time zones in a distributed global team
🌟 Bonus Points For: Experience with Salesforce data structures, marketing attribution platforms (HubSpot), data governance frameworks, Google Cloud Platform tools, or Python for data transformation and automation.
