Role Description The Senior Business Analyst at Sonnet Code is a full-time, on-site role based in Santo Domingo de Guzmán. This role is responsible for analyzing business needs, documenting detailed business requirements, and translating them into clear specifications for engineering and product teams. The Senior Business Analyst will map and improve business processes, identify opportunities for operational efficiency, and support decision-making with data-driven insights. Day-to-day tasks include conducting stakeholder interviews, preparing functional documentation, facilitating workshops, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives. The role also involves supporting testing and implementation activities and contributing to continuous improvement of analysis practices and standards. QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate options, and support evidence-based recommendations.Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for engaging stakeholders, presenting findings, and writing clear, structured documentation.Candidates should possess expertise in Business Process analysis and optimization, including mapping workflows and identifying improvement opportunities.Candidates should possess the ability to define, manage, and validate Business Requirements that align with organizational goals.Experience working with technology teams (AI, web, mobile, or cloud projects) and familiarity with software development lifecycles.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proficiency in common business analysis tools (e.g., process modeling tools, requirements management tools, spreadsheets, presentation software).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar are beneficial but not required.
