Senior Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager – Generic Manufacturer Services to lead strategic relationships with generic pharmaceutical manufacturers and drive commercial value through sourcing, contracting, pricing, and manufacturer programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage strategic relationships with generic pharmaceutical manufacturers.Lead contract negotiations, sourcing strategies, business agreements, rebates, allowances, and promotional programs.Manage trade affairs and resolve commercial issues with key suppliers.Oversee generic product portfolio strategy, including pricing competitiveness, formulary gaps, and lifecycle management.Identify opportunities to improve profitability and create value for the company and its customers.Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain teams.Lead manufacturer business reviews, performance reporting, and executive-level presentations.Support commercialization and formulary initiatives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.7–10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical category management, sourcing, or manufacturer relations.Strong knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical market and wholesale/distribution industry.Strong financial and analytical skills.Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives independently.Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
