Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to ensure seamless and efficient data integration across multiple platforms, improving data accessibility and reliability. Develop, maintain, and enhance complex SQL queries that extract actionable insights from large and diverse data sets, supporting strategic business decisions. Implement and manage scalable data lakehouse architectures, ensuring high performance and cost-effective data storage solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists and business analysts to build robust, end-to-end data pipelines aligned with business objectives. Leverage PySpark and Scala for high-performance data processing, ensuring scalability and efficiency in handling big data workflows. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering roles with proven expertise in ETL processes and SQL. Strong proficiency in PySpark and Scala for data processing tasks. Experience designing and managing data lakehouse architectures and data pipelines. Solid understanding of GDPR compliance and data privacy regulations. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Preferred: Experience working in agile, collaborative team environments with exposure to GitOps workflows.
