At Darwoft, we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an international project in the Cybersecurity / Identity Security space.You’ll work on a next-generation platform that processes large volumes of identity activity, security events, logs, network telemetry, and cloud data to help enterprise security teams detect risks, unusual access patterns, and potential threats.This role sits at the intersection of Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Cloud, and Enterprise Integrations, with a strong focus on building reliable ingestion capabilities across complex customer environments.
What You’ll Be Working OnDesign and build production-grade data ingestion pipelines, connectors, and collectorsIntegrate cloud platforms, enterprise systems, APIs, identity providers, and security toolsDevelop backend and integration services using Python and/or GoWork with REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databasesBuild and operate containerized services with Docker and KubernetesDeploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCPTroubleshoot issues across applications, networking, infrastructure, APIs, and data pipelinesImprove ingestion performance, reliability, and scalabilityCollaborate with Engineering, Product, Solution Architecture, and customer-facing teamsTurn recurring integration needs into reusable platform capabilities
What We’re Looking For8+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or similar rolesStrong experience with Python and/or GoHands-on experience building data pipelines, connectors, integrations, or distributed servicesStrong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQLProduction experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CDStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills across complex distributed environmentsExperience integrating third-party or enterprise platformsAbility to work independently and translate ambiguous requirements into practical engineering solutionsStrong communication skills and comfort interacting with technical stakeholdersEnglish B2 / C1
Highly Relevant BackgroundExperience in areas such as:Identity & Access Management (IAM)Identity Security / CybersecuritySIEM and security telemetryCloud, endpoint, or network securitySASE / Zero TrustLarge-scale event processing or event-driven architectures
Experience integrating platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, Okta, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Microsoft Defender, AWS, Azure, GCP, or SIEM solutions is a strong plus.You don’t need experience with every technology listed. What matters most is your ability to understand complex enterprise systems and transform heterogeneous data sources into reliable, scalable integrations.
