Job Description: We are seeking a Platform Engineer Contract to support our Product Development IT PDIT organization This role is responsible for the administration, optimization and reliability of core software development lifecycle SDLC tooling with a primary focus on GitHub JFrog Artifactory and Jira along with hands-on ownership of CICD pipelines GitHub Actions or equivalentThis is a hands-on execution focused role supporting enterprise scale developer platforms The ideal candidate has strong administrative experience across one or more of these tools combined with practical CICD expertise and can operate independently in a fast paced globally distributed environmentScreening RequirementCandidates must have direct enterprise level administrative experience with GitHub Jira or JFrog AND hands-on experience with CICD pipelines GitHub Actions or equivalent General DevOps only profiles without platform ownership experience will not be consideredKey Responsibilities Administer and support core SDLC platforms including GitHub JFrog Artifactory Jira Confluence and related toolingOwn platform configuration, access management and governance org structures permissions workflows integrationsOptimize tooling workflows and integrations including CICD pipelines to improve developer productivity and platform reliabilityProvide day-to-day operational support including troubleshooting issues resolving tickets and supporting engineering teamsPartner with vendors GitHub Atlassian JFrog to drive issue resolution and escalationsParticipate in major incident response including investigation and remediationDrive automation and operational efficiency to reduce manual effort and improve scalabilitySupport platform migrations upgrades and tooling changes coordinating across internal stakeholders and external partnersEnsure adherence to security compliance and governance requirements partnering with InfoSec and LegalDevelop clear user communications and documentation for platform updates and incidentsRequired Qualifications3 to 5 years’ experience in Platform Engineering DevOps SRE or similar roleStrong hands-on administrative experience with one or more of the followingGitHub Enterprise report managementJira Confluence workflow configuration strongly preferredJFrog Artifactory repository management integrationsRequired Experience with CICD pipelines specifically GitHub Actions or comparable platforms Jenkins TeamCity etc.Strong understanding of SDLC and developer tooling ecosystemsExperience troubleshooting integrated developer platformsExperience with scripting automation Python Bash or similarWorking knowledge of cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCPStrong communication skills with globally distributed teamsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with GitHub Advanced Security JFrog Xray or similar toolsExperience in enterprise environments with security and compliance requirementsExposure to GenAI tools in developer workflows e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude etc.Familiarity with IAMSSO solutions e.g. Okta
