Senior Engineer, Protection, Automation, and Control (PAC)

Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager, this position leads the execution and coordination of engineering activities and is frequently involved in complex and non-routine engineering challenges. The role calls for technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and teamwork. It influences project decisions with a significant impact on the company and applies technical knowledge to promote a safe work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects within scope, schedule, and cost.
• Lead and perform assignments in specialized areas requiring extensive engineering expertise.
• Review functional specifications for completeness and practical limitations.
• Coordinate design activities as a member of a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
• Review and authenticate designs.
• Plan and coordinate work, budgeting, and cost estimating.
• Develop and update single-line diagrams, design drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Support material procurement as a subject matter expert.
• Conduct high-level QA/QC design reviews, close gaps, and manage lessons learned.
• Provide technical support to field and construction groups.
• Use, develop, and improve engineering processes and standards.
• Provide reporting, including presentations to work groups and senior management.
