Our client, a leading signage and road safety company with over 33 years of experience in Puerto Rico, is looking for a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Manager to join their team and drive HR initiatives forward. This position requires travel to various locations across Puerto Rico.
Job Overview
In this vital role, you will serve as a key partner in managing human capital processes, fostering a positive employee experience, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Your energetic approach will help shape organizational culture, support talent development, and streamline HR operations to meet strategic goals.This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence all facets of human resources management while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.Responsible for maintaining and enforcing company HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook compliance.Administer employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to promote growth and engagement.Oversee benefits administration and leave managementMaintain compliance with employment and labor laws by staying current on OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and other legal requirements.Facilitate change management initiatives by supporting organizational design projects, succession planning, and performance management strategies.Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to resolve disputes effectively.Utilize HRIS platforms to ensure accurate workforce management records.Travel to various client locations across Puerto Rico to provide on-site HR support as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of HR practices and employment law compliance.Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting strategies, and HR sourcing techniques.Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully and professionally.Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.Familiarity with training & development programs and performance management systems to foster employee growth.Willingness and ability to travel to various locations across Puerto Rico.
Compensation$50,000 -$55,000 annual salary (based on experience)Car allowance: $6,000 annuallyMedical plan: 50% employer contribution401(k) with 3% employer matchVacation & sick leaveChristmas bonusPerfect attendance bonus
