Senior Integration Developer webMethods

Job Title: Senior Integration Developer (webMethods)Location: RemoteDuration: 12 Months
Position SummaryThe Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex, high-volume integration solutions that connect shipboard systems (Property Management Systems, Point of Sale) with shoreside corporate applications (ERP, HRIS, CRM). You will leverage the Software AG webMethods suite to ensure seamless data flow across a hybrid cloud/on-premise environment.
Key Responsibilities• Design & Development: Develop end-to-end integration flows using webMethods Integration Server, Designer, and Flow/Java services.• Adapter Management: Configure and maintain various adapters including JDBC, Oracle, Salesforce, and Cloud Streams.• B2B & EDI: Manage partner onboarding and document exchange using webMethods Trading Networks and EDI Module (X12, EDIFACT).• API Management: Develop and expose REST/SOAP APIs to be consumed by web and mobile applications; manage security via API Gateway.• Messaging: Implement asynchronous communication patterns using webMethods Broker or Universal Messaging (UM).• Support & Optimization: Provide Tier 3 production support, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and manage server patches using Command Central.
Technical Requirements• Core Suite: 5+ years of experience with webMethods 9.x/10.x (Integration Server, MWS, Trading Networks).• Adapters: Extensive experience with Oracle Adapter and JDBC Adapter.• Web Services: Deep knowledge of REST, JSON, SOAP, and WSDL.• DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and webMethods Deployer.• Database: Strong SQL skills for querying and troubleshooting backend databases (SQL Server/Oracle).• Cloud: Familiarity with integrating on-prem systems with AWS or Azure services.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience in the Travel/Cruise/Hospitality industry.• Certifications in Software AG webMethods or Integration Architecture.
