Senior Legal Manager

About the role

As a key player in business development, the Legal Manager acts as a strategic partner, identifies improvements and proposes solutions. The role supports Knight Therapeutics Colombia in achieving its objectives and maintaining its good reputation with employees and others it interacts with, while reinforcing integrity, legality, transparency and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex supplier negotiations and provide legal counsel to support high-value transactions.
• Provide legal support for agreements and collaborate with attorneys, business partners and subject matter experts globally, regionally and locally.
• Work with business partners to understand their needs and advise on legal and contracting issues, ensuring agreements meet business needs and risks are identified and mitigated.
• Coordinate legal support, demonstrate independent initiative, contribute to cross-functional teams and collaborate with business and Law Department colleagues on key matters.
• Support the harmonization and delivery of Latin America regional training materials, best practices and internal guidelines regarding contract roles and responsibilities.
• Manage litigation in the responsible countries.
