The RoleA technical, hands-on role where you will:
Own major mechanical subsystems (pumps, valves, fluid-handling) through production launch.Design, prototype, and validate pressure vessels and related electromechanical components.Drive system-level tradeoffs across performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Build and execute rigorous test plans to validate hardware in real-world environments.Partner with electrical, firmware, and ID teams to turn concepts into shipped products.Improve manufacturing processes, including designing fixtures, tooling, and automation.Mentor junior engineers while remaining deeply involved in hands-on engineering work.
The Essential Requirements5+ years of experience designing and shipping mechanical or electromechanical hardware.Strong CAD and FEA skills applied to production-intent designs.Proven experience taking hardware from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.Hands-on capability: lifting up to 50 lbs and working on development hardware.Ability to work 100% on-site in Torrance, CA.
