About the role
Canonical’s Talent Development team works to make leaders and managers genuinely excellent. The team defines what great management looks like at Canonical and develops managers and leaders through direct, hands-on work, both centrally and embedded in engineering and commercial organisations.
As a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner, you set the bar for coaching and organisational development. You work from the central team and embed inside a leader’s organisation for periods, applying what you learn in the field to leadership and management development across Canonical.
Responsibilities
- Coach leaders to a clear standard of management excellence.
- Diagnose how a whole organisation is led and drive a plan to raise it.
- Develop practitioners working in the field.
- Bring insights from embedded work back into how Canonical develops leaders and managers.
Requirements
- Bring hands-on coaching and organisational-development craft to work with real leaders.
- Be credible in a room of directors and earn that credibility quickly.
