Collins Aerospace is seeking a PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Process Owner to join our Global Chemical Substances (GCS) organization supporting Power & Controls (P&C). We’re looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented engineering professional who can lead PFEP maturity, coordinate complex regulatory‑driven engineering changes, and manage high‑volume tracking activities across global teams. In this role, you will oversee Plan for Every Part (PFEP) processes, support change request (CR) execution, and ensure clear communication with engineering, operations, leadership, and external customers.
You will collaborate with project engineers, Change Request writers, global operations teams, business leaders, and product lines to define and manage REACH‑related changes, prepare customer mitigation plans, and maintain accurate PFEP data across PowerBI and internal trackers. This position is ideal for someone who excels at organizing cross‑functional efforts, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.
This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:
Drive PFEP process maturity, yearly planning, BOEs, and WBS managementMonitor PFEP actuals and ensure accurate charging across P&C business unitsLead PFEP project management, cross‑functional coordination, and business continuityManage REACH‑related engineering changes, including defining CR packages and closing high‑volume CRsMaintain PFEP trackers and PowerBI dashboardsCoordinate engineering updates, global operations inputs, and CR writer workloadPresent PFEP status, regulatory updates, and mitigation plans to internal leadership and external customersDevelop customer mitigation plans and monitor progress across product lines

How PFEP integrates with engineering, operations, regulatory requirements, and customer needsDeep exposure to REACH and emerging global regulationsHow complex engineering change management is executed across large aerospace programs
Qualifications you must have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degreeDemonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Experience with engineering changes (ECs), change requests (CRs), and operations fundamentals
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with regulatory‑driven engineering changes (e.g., REACH)Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tool such as SAP, and TeamCenter/PLMBackground coordinating technical team workload and prioritiesExperience developing CR packages, BOEs, timelines, and cost estimatesAbility to present technical and regulatory content to internal and external stakeholdersKnowledge of CORE, process maturity concepts, and large‑dataset trackingExperience managing high volumes of engineering changes
