OverviewOur customer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a leading global organization’s Enterprise Risk portfolio during a maternity leave coverage assignment. This role will oversee complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning enterprise risk, cybersecurity, compliance, technology, and operational governance.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, hands-on project manager who can quickly establish credibility, manage competing priorities, engage senior stakeholders, and drive projects from initiation through completion with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex projects from planning through execution and closure.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and action items.Coordinate stakeholders across technology, engineering, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, audit, legal, and regional teams.Translate business, security, regulatory, and technical requirements into actionable project deliverables.Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.Facilitate project meetings, workshops, governance forums, and decision-making sessions.Identify blockers proactively and drive timely resolution or escalation.Prepare executive-level status reports, recommendations, presentations, and decision-support materials.Track project resources, financial considerations, quality metrics, and delivery progress where applicable.Maintain organized project documentation and provide a comprehensive transition at the conclusion of the engagement.All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications5+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.Experience supporting technology, enterprise risk, cybersecurity, operational risk, controls, regulatory change, or similar functions.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience engaging with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders.Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated experience managing project scope, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, and organizational change.Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly with limited supervision.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and project collaboration platforms such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or SharePoint.Availability for the full contract duration from October 2026 through January 2027.
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting cybersecurity initiatives such as vulnerability management, identity and access management, data protection, third-party risk, controls remediation, or related programs.Experience working within global, regulated, financial services, technology, or data-driven organizations.Experience partnering with risk, security, compliance, legal, and internal audit teams.PMP certification preferred; PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project management credentials are also valued.Experience improving, streamlining, or automating project reporting and administrative processes.Portuguese language skills are a plus.
