Senior Project Manager Enterprise Cyber Risk Programs

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Governance & PlanningEstablish project charters, objectives, success measures, roles, decision rights, and governance structures.Develop and maintain integrated project plans, roadmaps, RACI matrices, communication plans, and project documentation.Select and apply appropriate Agile, Waterfall, Predictive, or Hybrid project management methodologies.Establish effective governance routines and maintain a reliable project source of truth.Scope, Requirements & Change ManagementDefine project scope, requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, work packages, and ownership.Manage project change requests and assess their impact on scope, schedule, resources, cost, and risk.Maintain traceability and ensure appropriate approvals for scope changes.Protect critical project outcomes and prevent uncontrolled scope expansion.Schedule, Resource & Financial ManagementBuild and manage detailed milestone schedules, dependencies, assumptions, and critical paths.Monitor resource capacity, skills, commitments, and third-party dependencies.Identify resource conflicts and delivery gaps and escalate them proactively.Track project budgets, forecasts, procurement dependencies, and material variances where applicable.Risk, Issue & Dependency ManagementMaintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.Identify emerging delivery risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.Coordinate quality reviews, assurance activities, evidence collection, and remediation.Diagnose project variance and drive corrective actions to restore delivery confidence.Escalate significant issues with clear options, recommendations, owners, and deadlines.Stakeholder & Executive ManagementPartner with senior leaders, technology teams, risk owners, security, compliance, legal, audit, and regional stakeholders.Facilitate executive meetings, workshops, planning sessions, and decision forums.Convert complex issues into clear decisions, actions, owners, and timelines.Build alignment and influence stakeholders without relying on formal authority.Manage difficult conversations and competing priorities professionally.Reporting & CommunicationPrepare concise, executive-ready status reports and decision papers.Track project health across scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, quality, and milestones.Identify adverse trends early and communicate recommended corrective actions.Maintain accurate project documentation, decision logs, action trackers, and governance records.Process Improvement & HandoverIdentify opportunities to simplify project governance, reporting, and administrative processes.Reduce duplicate trackers, unnecessary meetings, and low-value activities.Leverage approved AI, automation, workflow, and knowledge-management tools to improve project operations.Ensure project closure, lessons learned, outstanding actions, and ownership are properly documented.Prepare a comprehensive handover package for ongoing initiatives.Required Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end.Experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, operational risk, controls, regulatory change, audit remediation, or related environments.Strong understanding of the complete project lifecycle, including:Project charteringScope and requirementsScheduling and critical pathResource managementBudget/financial trackingRAID managementDependency managementChange controlQuality and assuranceProject recovery and closureDemonstrated ability to take ownership quickly and operate with limited supervision.Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Strong executive presentation and reporting capabilities.Practical understanding of enterprise risk, controls, audit, compliance, and regulatory obligations.Working knowledge of cybersecurity and technology concepts such as:Vulnerability managementData protectionEncryptionIdentity & Access ManagementThird-party riskControls and remediationStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.Experience with Confluence or SharePoint and at least one project delivery tool such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and manage sensitive information professionally.Preferred QualificationsExperience working within a global, regulated, financial services, technology, or data-driven organization.Experience partnering with Risk, Security, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, or other governance functions.Experience with first-line operational risk and collaboration with second-line risk functions.Experience improving or automating project/program operations using AI, workflow, no-code, or knowledge-management tools.PMP certification strongly preferred.PRINCE2, APM, Agile, Scrum, or comparable project/change management certifications are a plus.Financial literacy and experience with supplier, resource, or budget management.Portuguese language skills are a plus.--
