Senior React Native Developer

Mincka Engineering is hiring a Senior React Native Developer to own a mobile application used by field personnel working in locations with unreliable or absent connectivity. Offline capability is the defining constraint of this product, not an afterthought. This is a contract, project-based role: you'll take the application from an empty repository through to release on the App Store and Google Play.
ResponsibilitiesBuild a React Native application from scratch through to App Store and Google Play releaseDesign an offline-first architecture: the app must remain fully functional for hours without connectivity and reconcile cleanly on reconnectBuild a multi-step data capture flow with validation and draft persistenceImplement camera integration with structured, categorized photo captureBuild interactive annotation on technical images, mapping user-placed markers to stored coordinatesBuild a synchronization engine with conflict handling and clear failure statesImplement authentication against AWS Cognito, including federated sign-inManage releases: builds, TestFlight, store submissions, and review responses
RequirementsYou have shipped at least one React Native application to the App Store and Google Play and supported it in productionDirect experience building offline-first mobile applications with local persistence and synchronizationStrong TypeScriptExperience with native device APIs: camera, file system, background tasks, permissionsYou have been through App Store and Play review, including at least one rejectionDaily working proficiency with Claude Code or an equivalent agentic coding tool
