Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire the sales and marketing teams to achieve and exceed firm order targets through effective collaboration and strategic planning. Develop and implement sales strategies focused on B2B markets, particularly targeting accounting practices and outsourcing solution providers. Monitor and report on sales pipelines, marketing leads, and business development progress via regular meetings to ensure alignment with company goals. Convert qualified leads into confirmed orders by leveraging deep knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, TaxCalc, and CCH. Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate closely with marketing to design campaigns that generate high-quality leads and increase brand awareness. Ensure accurate forecasting and timely reporting of sales performance metrics to senior management. What We're Looking For Required: Minimum 6 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within accounting software or outsourcing services. Strong expertise with accounting software platforms such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, TaxCalc, or CCH. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing sales and marketing teams. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing high-value deals. Ability to analyze data and use CRM tools to drive sales strategies effectively. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and strong organizational skills. Preferred: Experience selling services or solutions directly to accountancy practices or within outsourcing sectors. Familiarity with the UK and US accounting markets and regulatory environment. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
