About the OpportunityZIVA is hiring an experienced Salesforce Administrator for one of our clients, a healthcare marketing company that helps medical practices, hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare organizations achieve sustainable growth through strategy, technology, and data-driven marketing.This is a hands-on, fully remote position for someone who can take ownership of a mature, highly automated Salesforce environment supporting Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom configurations, legacy automation, reporting, and multiple integrations.

About the RoleThe Salesforce Administrator will serve as the primary owner of the Salesforce platform and work closely with Sales, Client Success, Finance, Marketing, and IT.The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, organized, and able to translate business needs into reliable, scalable, and well-documented Salesforce solutions.The organization also uses AI-assisted tools, including Claude Code, to support Salesforce administration and development. Previous experience with AI tools is valuable, but a strong willingness to learn is also welcome.
Candidate ProfileOwnershipThe Salesforce Administrator must take full responsibility for the Salesforce instance, ensuring:A positive employee experience.Accurate and reliable reporting.Strong system performance and data integrity.Clear documentation and sustainable processes.Timely resolution of issues.The right candidate proactively identifies risks, recommends improvements, and follows issues through to completion without requiring constant direction.Proactive CommunicationThe Salesforce Administrator is expected to:Acknowledge requests promptly.Set clear timelines and expectations.Communicate priorities and dependencies.Proactively report potential delays.Provide updates without repeated follow-up.Explain technical issues clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary administrator for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, security, sharing settings, custom objects, fields, layouts, record types, and validation rules.Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.Design, build, test, and maintain Salesforce Flow automation, including record-triggered, screen, scheduled, and HTTP callout flows.Review, migrate, and retire legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation.Administer Case Management, case assignment rules, queues, service automation, and client offboarding processes.Build and maintain reports and dashboards for pipeline, operations, MRR, ARR, retention, and churn.Own and support integrations between Salesforce and platforms such as NetSuite, Celigo, integrator.io, GoHighLevel, PDF Butler, Dialpad, Apollo, HubSpot, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.Troubleshoot API, webhook, synchronization, deployment, metadata, and test-coverage issues.Manage deployments across sandboxes and production using Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, change sets, or similar tools.Maintain data quality through validation rules, audits, de-duplication, standardization, and data cleanup.Support data imports, exports, migrations, and updates.Provide user support, training, process documentation, and technical documentation.Monitor Salesforce releases, security updates, and best practices.Recommend system improvements that increase reliability, scalability, adoption, and efficiency.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and ExperienceAt least five years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a complex, highly automated environment.Active Salesforce Administrator certification.Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.Strong knowledge of Salesforce data models, security, sharing, profiles, roles, and permission sets.Advanced experience with Salesforce Flow.Experience migrating Workflow Rules or Process Builder automation to Flow.Experience with Case Management and service automation.Experience managing third-party and custom integrations.Experience with APIs, webhooks, middleware, or integration platforms.Strong reporting and dashboard experience.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.Ability to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred QualificationsSalesforce Advanced Administrator certification.Salesforce Platform App Builder certification.Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.Experience in healthcare, marketing, advertising, or an agency environment.Experience with NetSuite, Celigo, integrator.io, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Apollo, Dialpad, or PDF Butler.Experience with e-signature or document-generation platforms.Familiarity with MRR, ARR, retention, and churn metrics.Experience with Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, or source-driven deployments.Experience using Claude Code or other AI-assisted tools for Salesforce administration or development.
