Senior Software Engineer – Web (React + UI/UX)Location: Mexico – fully remoteSalary: USD $55-70k per annum
About the OpportunityJoin an award-winning, venture-backed AgriTech business using technology to improve livestock care and help farmers make better day-to-day decisions.This is a senior, hands-on web engineering role combining strong React and Next.js development with ownership of the platform’s UI/UX design and user experience.With no dedicated designer currently in place, you will help shape how the web application looks, feels and functions while delivering robust, scalable front-end code.
Key RequirementsYou will bring:5+ years’ software engineering experience2+ years’ commercial React and Next.js experienceStrong front-end development and UI/UX design experienceA track record of delivering polished, intuitive interfacesStrong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility and modern CSSExperience with reusable components or component librariesStrong front-end performance and Vercel experienceExcellent technical English communicationA proactive, ownership-led approachExperience with Zustand, Figma, design systems or production AI/ML solutions would be advantageous.The technology environment includes Next.js, React, Zustand, Vercel, Python, SQL, dbt, GCP, BigQuery, Firebase, Flutter and Dart.Candidates must be based in Mexico, comfortable working U.S. Central Time hours and hold, or be able to renew, a B-1/B-2 U.S. visitor visa.
