Role Description This full-time remote Senior Software Engineer role at Garage Club focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable back-end services and APIs. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensure high code quality, and drive architectural decisions. Responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, reviewing code, and troubleshooting production issues. The role also involves mentoring less-experienced engineers, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously improving development processes and tooling.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development principles.Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side services.Candidates should possess proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with proben experience in Python Candidates should possess experience with databases, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and modern development tools and version control (e.g., Git).Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.Relevant experience leading technical initiatives, performing code reviews, and mentoring other engineers is highly beneficial.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
