Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

About the role

Solvo Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET/C#) to join an international engineering team developing and maintaining mission-critical software solutions used by organizations worldwide. The role involves owning features from design through production, contributing to architectural decisions, solving production challenges, and mentoring fellow engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET / C#.
• Build and optimize database structures and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain APIs and core business services.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of features from concept to deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with .NET/C#.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Strong background in automated testing.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional English proficiency.
