Senior Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and support the administration, automation, optimization, and reliability of complex enterprise IT environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong expertise in systems administration, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.Manage and support VMware environments, including ESXi, vCenter, virtual resources, and server provisioning.Support cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and security.Design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Bash to automate repetitive administrative processes.Work with automation and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Rundeck, vRA, and vRO.Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and domain integrations.Support networking technologies including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, VPCs, Route53, and VMware NSX.Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Windows Event Viewer.Participate in backup, disaster recovery, security, auditing, and business continuity initiatives.Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud-related incidents while ensuring high system availability.Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, cloud, and application teams to resolve technical issues.Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.Support CI/CD and DevOps practices using technologies such as GitHub and Jenkins.Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or similar technical roles.Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux system administration.Advanced knowledge of VMware, ESXi, vCenter, and virtualization technologies.Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and enterprise server environments.Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Rundeck, vRA, or vRO.Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash.Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, VPCs, security groups, and DNS.Experience with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, security, auditing, and infrastructure best practices.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have
Experience with VMware NSX, Hyper-V, Zscaler, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD environments.Experience supporting large-scale or global enterprise infrastructure.Knowledge of cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments.Experience leading infrastructure optimization or automation initiatives.Microsoft Azure, VMware, AWS, CompTIA, Scrum, or related technical certifications.Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
