Senior Systems/Software Engineer – Cloud & On-Premise Software Testing
Work Model: Hybrid — average 2 days per week in office
Relocation: Relocation assistance available for eligible candidates
Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Systems/Software Engineer to perform end-to-end testing of cloud and on-premise security management platforms. The role combines software test automation, networking/security, AWS, Kubernetes, Python, and UI automation.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform functional, system, integration, security, performance, and regression testing.Test microservices and containerized applications in AWS and Kubernetes environments.Validate on-premise deployments using VMware and KVM.Develop and maintain test automation using Python and Playwright.Test networking/security functionality, browser compatibility, user workflows, RBAC, system logs, and administrative functionality.Create test strategies, test cases, scripts, and automated test suites.Troubleshoot defects and collaborate with Software Development, Networking, Security, and QA teams.
Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.5–7 years of experience testing networking/security products.Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, firewalls, load balancers, IPv4/IPv6.Hands-on AWS experience.Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, and microservices.Strong Python programming/scripting skills.Hands-on Playwright/UI test automation experience.Experience with automated testing frameworks and cloud-based networking/security products.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
