Senior Tableau Developer Tableau Cloud DBT

We're looking for a Senior Tableau Developer with strong Tableau Cloud, DBT, and ETL experience to build scalable, secure, and impactful dashboards. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare or benefits environments, understands HIPAA requirements, and can effectively communicate insights to both technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced startup setting.
Experience5+ years of hands-on Tableau development experience.Proven experience with Tableau Cloud administration, publishing, security, and dashboard development.Experience working with DBT and ETL/data pipeline technologies.Strong background designing and implementing role-based access controls and permission-managed dashboards.Technical SkillsAdvanced Tableau dashboard development and data visualization best practices.Experience integrating and modeling data from multiple sources.Ability to work with both mature, well-structured datasets and evolving data environments.Comfortable partnering with Data Engineers to improve data quality and availability.Experience applying corporate branding standards to Tableau dashboards is a plus.Industry ExperienceHealthcare, Digital Health, Insurance, or Employee Benefits industry experience strongly preferred.Understanding of HIPAA requirements and handling sensitive healthcare data.Business & Communication SkillsStrong storytelling and data visualization mindset.Ability to challenge reporting requests and recommend the most effective visualizations.Experience presenting insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including operations, clinical, and marketing teams.Excellent communication skills with leadership and business partners.Work StyleSelf-directed and comfortable working with limited requirements.Able to build solutions from scratch in a fast-paced startup environment.Adaptable to changing priorities and evolving business needs.Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
